Good to know

Short-Term Accommodation questions, answered

Short-Term Accommodation (STA) gives you a supported place to stay for a short period, often including respite. It can be a weekend, a week or a little longer, in a welcoming setting with support on hand around the clock. STA is a chance for you to enjoy a change of scene, and for family carers to take a well-earned break.

STA is commonly funded in an NDIS plan, often bundling accommodation, support, meals and activities into the one arrangement. The number of days available depends on your plan and goals. If you are unsure what is covered, get in touch and we will help you make sense of it.

A typical stay includes a comfortable place to sleep, meals, support with daily activities and personal care, and fun things to do. We tailor each stay to the person, so it feels welcoming and positive rather than clinical.
